The Impact of Just Saying “Thank-You.”

Dale Carnegie is known to say that the two sweetest words in the English language were a person’s first and last name. If you have known people who do that in conversations with you, you have more than likely paid closer attention to them and appreciated the attention. Marshall Goldsmith in his book “What Got You Here Won’t get You There” has a different perception of the two sweetest words in the English language, that they are “Thank you”. It is showing gratitude and in fact, Marshall states “Failing to express gratitude is the most basic form of bad manners”. In this week’s vlog I explore the impact of just saying “thank you” can have.
