DEI — The Fallout from Biases: Stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, harassment.

In this post I continue to look at Breaking Down Social Biases and what biases lead to — the outcomes of bias. Bias is common in many aspects of our lives. To make sense of everything around us, we often categorize the things we experience or people we encounter. Biases may be conscious or unconscious, in which the most extreme forms can lead to harassment, discrimination, or violence. In this week’s post I explore stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, and harassment and ways in which we combat them.
